About ShropFix

ShropFix is built on real hands-on engineering experience and a passion for helping people keep their homes running smoothly. From small jobs to those longer-standing “I’ll fix it one day” tasks — I’m here to take the stress out of maintenance.

Who I am

ShropFix was created after years of hands-on engineering experience gained while working in manufacturing and industrial environments. Over time, I realised how much I enjoy solving practical problems and helping people directly — so I decided to take things into my own hands. That’s how ShropFix was born: a local service built on real engineering knowledge, attention to detail, and the motivation to keep improving my skills.

My background

I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to see how things work. As a kid I lived inside LEGO sets, building cars, machines and anything with moving parts. That curiosity never really went away — it just grew bigger. Over the years I got into electronics, mechanics, and later into cars and motorcycles. Not just riding them, but taking them apart, fixing them and rebuilding them from scratch. I’ve restored a number of bikes from the frame up, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about bringing a machine back to life. My career started in CAD design, creating technical projects for clients, but eventually I realised I missed the hands-on side of things — the real tools, real parts and real problem-solving. That’s when I moved into maintenance engineering. It allowed me to work with mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, pneumatics and everything in between. Growing up in Eastern Europe also taught me an important lesson early on: if something breaks, you fix it with whatever you’ve got. No complaining — just practical thinking and hard work. All of this naturally led to ShropFix. It’s simply what I’ve always enjoyed doing: fixing, building, improving and helping people take the stress out of the jobs that pile up at home.

How I work

I keep things simple: clear communication, reliable timings and tidy work. I turn up when I say I will, explain what needs doing, and make sure everything is finished to a high standard.

What matters to me

Respect for your home, honesty in pricing, and delivering a service I’d be happy to receive myself. Whether it's a small fix or a list of tasks — I’m here to help.
